There’s Space for You

There have been approximately two million babies born worldwide since 1998 (United Nations). Among these countless individuals, someone shares your love for worship, prayer, or encouraging others. Yet, each of us is unique, crafted by God with a distinct voice, purpose, and plan (Psalm 139:14). No two people are the same.

Unfortunately, we can be our own worst critic. We believe lies that steal, kill, and destroy our capacity to see all the good that God has planted inside of us. Seeds of doubt begin to blossom that make us shrink away from our talents and visions. We let comparison manipulate our emotions to make us feel that there’s no room for our voice if everyone else is speaking.

I saw a post a while back about bread. There are hundreds of different brands - Wonder, Sara Lee, Nature’s Own, and countless others - and they all serve the same purpose. But Sara Lee didn’t second guess her vision when she saw what Wonder had started. The point is that there will always be room for your God given voice, personality, and style. You were crafted by God to carry out a purpose, take up space, and bring Him glory.

I pray you find your value in Christ. I pray that you walk in peace as you learn to know your Creator and His plan for your life. I pray that you walk in confidence with your head held high as a daughter of the King.
